Amoudi

Amoudi is a complex sinus located 32km south of Rethymno and 4km east of Plakias. To get here, you have to drive a paved road from the village Lefkogia. The paved road stops in the first beach, the Grand Amoudi or Amoudi.

The beach itself is poorly organized, with umbrellas and some taverns and rooms nearby. Also, in Amoudi is a school of scuba diving. Amoudi has thick white sand and rocky bottom, ideal for scuba diving and mask, and the water has a strong greenish color.

Next to the beach there are many trees, where you can find shade and camp. West of Amoudi starts a dirt road that leads to Damnoni and passes by towering cliffs. Just 200m west of Beach, along the dirt road you will find a plateau parked cars and you have unlimited views Damnoni. Right there, on your left you will see a spectacular miniature sand, turquoise waters and a typical rock in the sea between two little oblong rocks. The beach is named Klisidi it an ideal choice rare occasions when we have people. Adjacent Kleisidi the east, you will see only nudist beach, the Small Ammoudi or Ammoudaki.

To reach the beaches of sandy beaches and walk, you walk east from Damnoni until you find the Ammoudaki.
