Souda

The beach Souda of Plakias is a lovely sandy beach in the bay of Plakias, 43 kilometers south of Rethymno and 3 kilometers west of Plakias and are exposed to southern winds.

It's near the beach resort of Plakias and has facilities for accommodation, food and facilities for swimming (sunbeds, umbrellas, sea sports etc). In the coast is rocky and is a place suitable for snorkeling.

Access from Rethymnon is mainly rented or private cars and motorcycles, followed by bus to the village of Plakias. Then should follow a path, 3-4 kilometers up the beach of Souda.
